Our Mission

The Consortium’s mission is to ensure that small and midsize federal contractors have input on policies generated by the Congress and federal agencies. Two recent initiatives beg for additional industry support – implementation of Section 889 and DoD's Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC). Guidance surrounding these initiatives show the need for a more organized industry approach to implementation, especially among small and midsize companies. The Consortium seeks to provide constructive input to decision-makers who are tackling these difficult problems.
